Kumva offers IoT applied training to university students in Rwanda, helping them to better understand IoT product development, while getting the baseline data needed to develop new solutions that will have a positive social impact on vulnerable communities in the country.
After strong interest from students and teachers, Kumva will be growing it’s training offering this year, developing a training focused kit and working with University students to develop impactful, value chain driven IoT applications for Rwanda. Kumva will then support a number of these applications, giving students access to our technical team to develop viable product offerings that can then be deployed on the Kumva platform.
Once a V1 kit has been developed in collaboration with the students, further support and testing will be offered through a pilot study, developing a case study that can be used in future training programmes as well as new client marketing materials. Kumva sees a huge opportunity to support student knowledge transfer, as well as vulnerable, rural communities through the evaluation of data findings during these pilots.
